April 2011 - Terms agreed with The
Durley Dean Hotel in Bournemouth!
After a meeting on Tuesday with David Edwards at The Durley Dean Hotel
in Bournemouth, Atlantis have secured the venue for open regular
3 Day First Aid at Work Courses. The venue is very well
appointed with excellent facilities and we are looking forward to our
first open courses in late May! Watch out for
those “dates” coming soon!
March 2011 Terms agreed with The “City Lodge” Bridge
House Hotel - Longham!
After talks with management at The Bridgehouse Hotel in Longham - Ferndown,
Atlantis have secured the venue for open Emergency First Aid at
Work Courses on a Monthly Basis! This will allow us to serve
our local community more readily with high quality, well priced training
- First Course on 19th April and
all courses are listed on the “dates” page!
February 2011 - New Parent First Aid and
12 hour Paediatric courses at Serendipity Sams - Christchurch!
After training the staff at Serendipity Sams, Atlantis have been asked
to partner up with the kids activity centre and deliver training geared
towards their clients and industry. Regular 3 hour “Parent First
Aid” courses will take place at the Reid Street Indoor Play Site.

February 2011 - terms agreed with Sandy Balls, Woodside Inn for new public
Atlantis First Aid will now be running First Aid Courses, Manual Handling
Training and Fire Warden/Marshal courses at Sandy Balls Holiday Park in
Fordingbridge, Hampshire. These courses will be open for individuals or
groups to attend, providing training services to nearby Salisbury, Ringwood,
Verwood and Lyndhurst.
On the borders of the New Forest, Sandy Balls site offers beautiful and
peaceful surroundings and has extensive facilities catering for all our
candidates needs. The first course will be on the 21st March and we are
looking forward to working closely with Mark Andrews - Woodside Inn Manager!
January 2011 - Atlantis now offering Fire Training...
Its always been an aim to become a “one-stop-shop” for small
to medium businesses and with a bolstered reportoire, Atlantis are looking
to better serve our current and future clients with Fire Training! Training
on offer now includes, Fire Awareness Courses, Fire Warden / Fire Marshal
Courses and Fire Extinguisher

October 2010 - Atlantis proudly support Romsey
Rugby Club with FREE first aid training...
Atlantis First Aid, as part of our committment to the local community,
have offered our services to Romsey Wasps Rugby Football Club. As a supplier
of first aid stock to the club, we were only too happy to help them out
and after talks with the committee, a training schedule was set. The initial
be generic for anyone with ties to Romsey Wasps, and a “First Aid
For Rugby Coaches” course would later follow. Atlantis are keen
to firmly cement strong ties with the club, its sponsors and local companies...
we hope this paves the way!
July 2009 - Atlantis First Aid join the British
Steam Car Challenge world record attempt at Edwards Air Base, USA...
Brad Marsh - Emergency Medical Technician, has been asked to provide medical
support and driver extrication training for the Local Fire Services in
California, as part of the Steam Car world record bid. Brad will join
the team for circa three weeks while initial testing and subsequent attempts
on the reccord are made. Atlantis are very proud and humbled by the request
and would like to thank Lynne Angel in particular! Her name says it all!
June 2008 - Atlantis First Aid expand into
In a collaboration with Wessex Fire and Rescue based in Sopley, Hants.
Atlantis First Aid are supplying the Medical Event Cover for the prestigious
Steam Car Challenge testing days at Thorney Island, Portsmouth. Atlantis
are proudly supplying our Emergency Response Vehicle and trained staff
for the test days in the build up to the Steam Land Speed Record attempt
in Bonneville USA with a target of 215 MPH!
April 2008 - Atlantis First Aid offer Emergency
First Response Qualifications
have expanded their range of first aid qualifications offered to include
courses with EFR. EFR are an internationally recognised corporation who
offer training primarily to the Scuba diving community. In conjunction
with PADI International, EFR and Atlantis First aid offer courses in Primary
Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care For Children (CFC). Additional modules
can be added to these courses including AED (Defib) and Emergency Oxygen
